Unlock 4: Indian Railways to run 80 more special trains from today

Indian Railways will be running 80 more special trains from Saturday.

The booking for these special trains started from September 10.

The announcement was made by Railways Ministry on its official Twitter handle.

These special trains will be fully reserved trains.

These trains will be in addition to the existing 30 special trains, 200 Special Mail Express.

Railways have started running these trains after regular services were suspended in March.

Passengers can book tickets through IRCTC official website and mobile app.

They can also book tickets from reservation counter at railway stations.

Railways have made it compulsory for passengers to wear face masks.

Passengers will have to reach station at least 90 mins prior to scheduled departure.

Passengers will have to undergo thermals screening.

Only those who do not show any Covid-19 symptom will be allowed to travel.

The 80 new trains are being introduced keeping in mind the migrant workers.
