ROB?(31-36)Well even though the signs aregone, you can still see thepaint that was splashed on thewalls, and there is still trashstrewn across Edgewood Avenue.But when Code Enforcement gothere this afternoon, theyweren’t surprised.In fact, they told me they’vebeen dealing with this guy foryears.PKG:Two city employees hauled awaythe obscene sign this afternoon.They also removed another signthat was mounted on a utilitypole nearby.We spoke with Charlie Walterswho lives in the neighborhood.He thinks the homeowner wastrying to make a point.Charlie Walters, Lives Nearby:"Obviously somebody’s irritated,and I think he’s going about itthe wrong way, but that’s justone man’s opinion."(9s)The homeowner is Michael Goudie,and I learned that he sued theCity last year for shutting offwater and power to his property.The city did that because theState of Florida had chargedGoudie for having an unsafedwelling.That charge and the lawsuit wereboth dropped, but a woman wholives nearby told me Goudiestill went ahead and vandalizedhis own home.Walters says he doesn’t get it.Charlie Walters, Lives Nearby:"Code Enforcement’s always beenmore than fair with me.
