The Lafayette Board of Works approved a four week extension to Downtown Lafayette's Fresh Air Eats dining option Tuesday morning.

Several local restaurants reported an incase in business.
That led organizers to propose an extension of the outdoor dining program.
It was created to give downtown businesses a boost during the pandemic.
Fresh air eats was scheduled to wrap up this weekend.
It will now continue every friday, saturday and sunday through november 1st.
