US Polls 2020: US Astronaut Kate Rubins votes from International Space Station|Oneindia News

As the Coronavirus Pandemic rages on in United States, many people have opted for the early voting than the in person voting on 3rd of November.

As people from different states are voting, those in space are not leaving the chance out.

A US astronaut cast her ballot from the International Space Station on Thursday, making her voice heard in the presidential election despite being 408 kilometers above the Earth.

Crew member Kate Rubins, began a six-month stint aboard the orbiting station last week.

NASA took to twitter to post a photograph of Rubins, her blonde hair floating in the zero-gravity environment, in front of a white enclosure with a paper sign that reads "ISS voting booth.
