The Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal will conduct a high-level meeting today with all the states/UT education ministers, secretaries and chairpersons of state examination boards as well as stakeholders to discuss pending Class 12 board exams.

Delhi Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia has written to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh seeking the assistance of the Army in tackling the Covid situation in the capital. Delhi has been witnessing a high number of cases and deaths in the second wave of Covid and the crisis has been compounded by the shortage of oxygen in hospitals. Deputy CM Sisodia said that the government has appealed to all sections to help transport oxygen to the capital. An Israeli airstrike destroyed a 12-story building in Gaza that housed the offices of the Associated Press, Al Jazeera and other media. Those in the building had been warned to evacuate about an hour before the strike, according to Al Jazeera. The Israeli Airforce said on Twitter that the building housed Hamas military intelligence assets. “Prior to the attack, the Air Force warned the civilians staying in the building and gave them sufficient time to evacuate the building,” the IAF added.

He further said, "The geo-politics coupled with geo-economics is indeed seeking to re-share the rules that govern the world order. There are some nations which follow international order and there are few which depend on their own law-fare, their own rules and regulations, trying and changing status quo. Therefore, these kinds of things do lead to conflict situations and that's what we are witnessing on the Northern Borders. Therefore, we are witnessing changes in the geo-politics shape by a nation-first approach."
