Halloween Safety Tips From the Indiana State Police and Allen County Health Commissioner

Officials say as you head out with your children, family, or friends for an evening of trick-or-treating this Halloween, remember that safety is of the utmost importance.

Allen health commissioner doctor matthew sutter wants to remind everyone to use extra precautions this halloween.

Wearing masks, being outside and staying six feet away from people who are not part of your household should be a priority.

Wash your hands frequently and use disinfectant wipes if necessary.

The health department says high risk activities include indoor parties, where people are eating and drinking without masks and within six feet of each other.

The indiana state police are providing safety tips for everyone trick or treating this weekend.

Before heading out, you should look up your community's trick or treating hours.

Make sure to carry a flashlight, glow stick, or reflective material.trick or treat with an adult or use the buddy system.don't forget to walk on the sidewalk and not in the roadway.parents should
