NEP 2020: 'Sports, culture will be part of curriculum,' says Karnataka Dy CM

Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister and state's Minister for Higher Education Dr CN Ashwathnarayan, and Primary and Secondary Education Minister S Suresh Kumar held a joint press conference over National Education Policy 2020 on November 07.

A task force recruited for the same submitted its action plan for policy implementation to Deputy CM.

Ashwathnarayan said, "We are looking for the implementation of the report from 2021, in a phased manner.

Within 10 years, the very concept to improve the quality in teaching and learning, we have to get away from the rot learning.

Nothing should be extracurricular, Sports, culture, social development, social work all kind of activity will be part of curriculum."
