Rahul Gandhi continued his tirade against the Modi government on the second day of his Tamil Nadu visit. Addressing a roadshow in Karur area, Rahul Gandhi accused the Modi government of attempting to destroy the agriculture sector of the country with the three new farm laws. ‘Imagine that one of the laws clearly states that farmers can't go to court to protect themselves,’ Rahul Gandhi said. The Congress leader further alleged that the PM Narendra Modi-led central government's wrong policies are responsible for ruining the country's economy, which left the youth jobless. Prime Minister Narendra Modi interacted with Pradhan Mantri Rashtriya Bal Puraskar (PMRBP) awardees, via video conferencing on January 25. Union Minister for Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani was also present at the event. This year, 32 children are being awarded across the country. The award are given to the children with exceptional abilities and outstanding accomplishments, in the fields of innovation, scholastics, sports, arts and culture, social service and bravery.
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on January 24 interacted with weavers in Tamil Nadu's Odanilai. He reviewed the weaving work done by the weavers. Rahul said that he sees country's true strength when he looks at the farmers and workers except others who see weakness in them.
