The coronavirus pandemic isn't stopping the Catholic Action Center from keeping with its annual tradition and giving out Thanksgiving meals.

But this year they are doing it from a distance.

But this year...they are doing it from a distance.

Boxes:1x1 abc 36 studio lexington location three location four abc 36's bobbi mcswine joins us live from the catholic action center.

Bobbi.... you can see cars are already lined up.

L3 bobbi: white that's right...it's just getting started and the line is pretty long at this point...but director ginny ramsey says she thinks they'll have eniugh meals for everyone.

Ramsey says meals have mashed potatoes with gravy...ham...turke y...stuffing...green beans...pie...and more.

Volunteers weren't allowed this year due to covid-19 restrictions...but the staff is still is the spirit...all wearing turkey hats.

Ramsey says its important to help those in need...especially now.

L3 bobbi: white the drive thru will be open until 7...ramsey says if there's any leftover they'll find those who need it.
