'Ganguly's condition is improving': Former IPL chief

Former IPL chief and Congress leader Rajeev Shukla informed that BCCI President SouravGanguly, who has been hospitalised after suffering cardiac arrest,is showing improvement in his health condition.

"We all are wishing a speedy recovery for the former Captain of Team India as well as BCCI President SouravGanguly.

He had a mild heart attack, but it's not that serious.

Doctors are taking care of him and his condition is improving," said Former IPL Chief Rajeev Shukla.

BCCI president Sourav Ganguly was discharged from Apollo Hospital on January 31. Sourav Ganguly underwent a second round of angioplasty on January 28. On January 30, the hospital informed that Ganguly’s vital parameters were stable. Two more stents were implanted during the surgery conducted by a team of doctors. DR Rana Dasgupta, CEO, Apollo Gleneagles Hospitals, Kolkata, said, “He (Sourav Ganguly) is a normal patient. He is absolutely alright and he has gone home with his family.” Ganguly was hospitalized for the 2nd time in a month due to his cardiac condition.
