Nestlé Recalls 762,000 Pounds of Hot Pockets Due to Contaminants .

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA) has announced a recall of Nestlé’s Hot Pockets.

About 762,615 pounds of pepperoni Hot Pockets have possibly been contaminated with “extraneous materials.” .

Those materials are pieces of hard plastic and glass.

The issue was apparently discovered when several customers filed complaints with Nestlé after finding the unwanted additives.

One person has reported a “minor oral injury” caused by consuming one of the contaminated Hot Pockets.

The Hot Pockets that possibly contain the “extraneous materials” were produced between November 13 and 16 of last year and shipped nationwide.

They all have a February 2022 expiration date and include lot codes 0318544624, 0319544614, 0320544614 and 0321544614.

Some product may be frozen and in consumers’ freezers.

Consumers who have purchased this product are urged not to consume it.

This product should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase, USDA, via statement
