People queued up on February 14 at polling booth in Punjab's Amritsar to cast their votes as local body polls underway across the state.

State Health Minister Balbir Singh Sidhu cast his vote at a polling booth in Mohali.

Adequate arrangements amid COVID-19 have been put in place at the polling booths.

The counting of votes will take place on Feb 17.
