Kerala woman travels town to town for bringing 'swachhta' on streets

A 63-year-old woman from Kerala is travelling from one town to town to clean roadsides and surroundings.

Santha travels at various locations in order to create a healthy atmosphere.

She is unmarried and hails from Peechi area of Thrissur city.

Santha cleaned the streets of Thottilpalam village in Kozhikode which is around 200 km from her hometown.

She removes plastic bottles, nurtures plants and saplings.

This 63-year-old woman sometimes receives donation to sustain her noble cause.
