Rahul Gandhi’s sister and Party’s general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra joined on a video call on Rahul’s phone and interacted with the children. Previously, Priyanka Gandhi tested positive for the novel coronavirus and is in self-isolation.

Congress general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has canceled her poll campaign in Assam, Kerala, and Tamil Nadu after she went into self-isolation day as her husband Robert Vadra tested positive for COVID-19. Priyanka Gandhi has tested negative for COVID-19. She was scheduled to visit Assam today for campaigning and was scheduled to address rallies in Tamil Nadu and Kerala in the next two days. Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma informed that the state government has made COVID-19 testing mandatory at the airport for passengers coming from Mumbai and Karnataka. "Even if they have got themselves tested, they will be tested again here," he added. Himanta Biswa denied the need of night curfew in the state and assured that unlike last year Bihu will be celebrated in the state.
