Owner of explosives-laden SUV abandoned near 'Antilia' found dead, Fadnavis demands probe by NIA
While addressing the media in Mumbai on March 05, the former chief minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis spoke on matter of suspicious car found near Mukesh Ambani's house Antilia.
Fadnavis said, "I asked in House for protection to Mansukh Hiren, as he is the main link in the case and might be in danger.
Now, we get to know of his body being found.
It makes the case fishy." "Looking at this and alleged terror angle, we demand that case be handed over to National Investigation Agency (NIA)," he added.

After resignation of Maharashtra Home Minister Anil Deskhmukh, Leader of Opposition Devendra Fadnavis said that more faces will be unmasked as soon as the investigation will be progressed in the allegations against Deshmukh. "Home Minister Anil Deskhmukh should have resigned at the moment he was blamed for the racket. I firmly believe that more things will come out now. This is like tip of iceberg. The moment the investigation progresses, more faces will be unmasked," said Devendra Fadnavis. Anil Deskhmukh resigned as Maharashtra Home Minister after High Court ordered probe in former Mumbai Police Commissioner Param Bir Singh's allegations against Deshmukh.
A delegation of BJP leaders led by Devendra Fadnavis met Maharashtra Governor Bhagat Singh Koshyari at Raj Bhavan and handed over their memorandum on March 24. They requested the Governor to ask for a report from Maharashtra Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray on various issues related to governance and COVID-19. Devendra Fadnavis said, "After so many incidents, Maharashtra Chief Minister is silence, Sharad Pawar held two press conferences, he just tried to protect the minister. This government has lost moral ground." He further said, "This Government is not bothered about the COVID-19 situation in the state. The way in which cases are increasing here, it has become the epicentre. I don't understand what has this government done to control it? It is time to act and not give lectures."
In the latest development in Mansukh Hiren death case, a CCTV footage has surfaced purportedly showing Sachin Waze going to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 7 pm on March 05. Waze had taken a local train to Thane that day. He was brought to CSMT on April 05 for scene recreation. Officials from Pune's Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) were also present. Waze is an accused in the death case of Mansukh Hiran, the businessman who owned the explosive-laden car parked outside Mukesh Ambani's house Antilia on February 25. Body of Mansukh Hiren was found at Kalwa creek in Thane on March 05.
New revelations come to fore in the Ambani explosives case.
