Woman allegedly gang-raped during 'kanwar yatra': Aligarh SSP

According to Aligarh Police, a woman was allegedly raped by a few men during 'kanwar yatra' and an FIR has been registered.

"A woman got strayed behind while she was carrying 'kanwar' with her husband in Harduaganj.

Some men, who she knew, came and offered to drop her home but took her elsewhere.

She lodged rape complaint yesterday.

We have sent her for medical examination.

FIR has been registered," said Aligarh SSP Muniraj G.
