Action was initiated against two men on the complaint of a man who alleged that while returning, he was attacked and robbed of his mobile phone at gunpoint.
When he resisted, one of them also fired in the air.
With the help of technical surveillance, police identified the suspects and nabbed them one by one.
During interrogation, it was revealed that accused persons have committed about 40 robberies and snatchings at different places of Delhi and NCR.Raids were also conducted to trace the source of supply of illegal firearms following which one accused was arrested from Meerut.
Police have also recovered 10 pistols, stolen scooty, four mobile phones, and knives from their possession.
