Passenger surprises air hostess girlfriend with mile-high marriage proposal

This is the heartwarming moment a passenger surprised his air hostess girlfriend with a romantic marriage proposal during a flight in the Philippines.

Boyfriend Lucky Martinez boarded a flight where his girlfriend Amarie Catalan was on duty in Cebu province heading to Manila City on March 26.

The shocked flight attendant was at the back of the plane while her boyfriend gave a sweet message near the cockpit.

Lucky was heard making the announcement: ‘I’m just a guy who is deeply in love with someone.

Someone who is in the back.

This person means the whole world to me.

I love you.’ Amarie then walked in front through the aisle where red rose petals were scattered.

When she reached the front, Lucky went down on one knee before popping the question ‘Will you marry me?’ The flight attendant said yes and everyone on the plane cheered congratulating the overjoyed couple.

Jervey Birondo Perez, one of the cabin crew on the flight, said the couple had been together for five years.

She said: ‘Amarie is my roommate here in Manila and I am so happy that Cebu Pacific airlines gave their full support to the couple.’
