Ramzan 2021: Hyderabad's Mecca Masjid follows COVID SOPs

On the second day of Ramzan month, people visited Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad on April 15 to offer early morning prayers.

People without masks won't be allowed and sanitizers have been placed in the Mosque premises.

Speaking to ANI, Haafiz Mohammad Haneef, the Muezzin of Mecca Masjid, said that there are regular announcements through loud speakers for the people coming to the mosque to offer Namaz by following all the instructions of the government and pray to Allah to end this deadly disease soon.

"Use of sanitizers and masks is compulsory to enter the mosque and people are instructed to sanitize themselves before entering the mosque and after leaving," he added.

Shoaib, a local said, "We are using masks, which is compulsory for us to enter the mosque.

The people are using sanitizers and maintaining social distance and also following all COVID norms."
