A group gathered at Crossroads Baptist Church to pray for Officer Dawn Miller involved in a head-on collision with Angelina Raad going the wrong way on New Circle that left Officer Miller with multiple injuries.

Long time friend Jenah Rader says Miller has gone through multiple surgeries but is stable and doing okay.

She says swelling has gone down and another surgery on Miller's ankle is up next.

A group gathered thursday in lexington to pray for police officer dawn miller.

She's in serious, but stable condition right now after a wrong way car crash monday that left the other driver 38-year-old angelina sue raad dead raad's car was reportedly going in the opposite direction on the inner loop of new circle road near harrodsburg road when it crashed into millers police car.

Dozens of miller's friends , family and community members gathered thursday evening outside crossroads church to pray together for her recovery.

Longtime friend jenah rader says that officer miller has undergone multiple surgeries since the crash.but is stable and doing okay, she says swelling has gone down and another surgery on millers ankle is next.

"she is a fighter and shes got something in her and a fire in her that i know is the dawn that i know in the bible studies that we used to lead together is a fire from god and it's a fire that absolutely just pushes her and is getting her through this" the lexington police department says miller has been a l- p-d officer
