On April 29, India witnessed highest-ever spike of COVID-19 cases in a day in the world.

3,79,257 new COVID cases reported in last 24 hours and India's COVID caseload now stands at 1,83,76,524.

Currently, there are 30,84,814 active cases in the nation.

3,645 new deaths were registered in 24 hrs taking the total toll to 2,04,832.

In last 24 hrs, 2,69,507 people have been discharged.

So far, 15,00,20,648 COVID vaccine jabs have been inoculated.
