Delhi cop helps over 1100 people for COVID cremation

The second wave of COVID has ravaged the country.

Amid the surging casualties due to overwhelmed health infrastructure and crematoriums, Delhi Police ASI Rakesh Kumar has come forward to help in cremation of people who died due to COVID.

He is stationed at Lodhi Road Crematorium.

"I have helped nearly 1100 people.

I have taken both shots of vaccines and take all precautions.

If we help others, the God will help us.

I have postponed my daughter's marriage to help people here,"said ASI Rakesh Kumar.
