Emergency crews pulled these vehicles from a collapsed highway in George County, MS. A Mississippi state trooper said heavy rain from Hurricane Ida may have weakened the roadway and caused it to give out late Monday night (8/30).

Officials said at least two people were killed and 10 injured.
