Oscars 2022: Will Smith smacks comedian Chris Rock on stage; Video goes viral

In one of the most unusual moments in Oscars history, actor Will Smith smacked presenter Chris Rock.

Presenter Chris Rock, had made a joke about Will Smith’s wife, Jada Pinkett Smith.

Rock said Jada was going to be in the next “G.I Jane” movie, a reference to her lack of hair.

Will Smith strode up to the stage and slapped Rock.

When he sat down, Smith was heard shouting "keep my wife's name out of your f***ing mouth." According to People magazine, Jada Pinkett Smith has alopecia, a disease which causes hair loss.
