Russia denies targeting Ukraine shopping centre with strikes

Russia has denied targeting a shopping centre in Ukraine with missiles and claimed it was instead aiming for a nearby building it suspected was filled with weaponry.

Its ambassador to the UK, Andrei Kelin, insisted the Kremenchuk mall was empty, while describing the casualties as "collateral damage".

Ukraine: People missing after shopping centre missile strike

Survivors of yesterday's missile strike on a shopping centre in central Ukraine have described to ITV News how they crawled through flames to safety. At least 20 others did not make it out alive.
