Ireland’s Taoiseach was met by Larry the Cat as he left Number 10 on Sunday morning.

Micheál Martin was in Downing Street for a meeting with British Prime Minister Liz Truss.

The Irish premier reached down to stroke Larry, but the Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office declined his advance.
