4 alleging that Pitt was violent toward her and her children on a flight from France to California in 2016.

Jolie also contends that Chateau Miraval negotiations between her and Pitt fell through because he wanted her to sign , “a nondisclosure agreement that would have contractually prohibited her from speaking outside of court about Pitt’s physical and emotional abuse of her and their children.”.

Court papers allege that while on the 2016 flight, “Pitt choked one of the children and struck another in the face” and “grabbed Jolie by the head and shook her.”.

It's also alleged that “he poured beer on Jolie... he poured beer and red wine on the children.”.

According to Jolie's lawyers, the actor had “gone to great lengths to try to shield their children from reliving the pain Pitt inflicted on the family that day.”.

But when Pitt filed this lawsuit seeking to reassert control over Jolie’s financial life and compel her to rejoin her ex-husband as a frozen-out business partner, Pitt forced Jolie to publicly defend herself on these issues for the first time, Angelina Jolie's lawyers, via 'The Guardian'.

Pitt sued Jolie in February, claiming that when she sold her stake in Chateau Miraval, , she “pursued and then consummated the purported sale in secret, purposely keeping Pitt in the dark, and knowingly violating Pitt’s contractual rights.”.

Pitt claims negotiations fell through after Jolie lost a custody dispute.

Jolie maintains that talks ceased after she refused to sign his non-disparagement clause.

How Did '4/20' Become a Holiday for Weed?

How Did '4/20' Become a Holiday for Weed?. One common theory is that it stems from a California criminal code for those who distribute the drug. According to CNN, California's 420 code is actually for obstructing entry on public land. The state's medical marijuana program was created from a bill with the number 420. Oaksterdam Cannabis Museum's Chris Conrad says "4/20" started as a code in Marin County, California, at San Rafael High School. In the 1970s, a group called "The Waldos" would get together at 4:20 PM to smoke pot. The time of the day was convenient as it was right after school ended with no parental supervision just yet. "4/20" became a code word that allowed them to notify each other in front of unsuspecting parents. From there, the phrase likely spread across the country
