US President Joe Biden has ruled out sending F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, despite renewed calls from Ukrainian officials for air support. This comes as a huge blow to Kyiv’s push to secure the combat aircraft just a week after Washington and Berlin agreed to supply it with tanks.

amid a nationwide anti-corruption crackdown. .

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Defense Ministry confirmed that
deputy defense minister Vyacheslav Shapovalov
would also be resigning from his post.
According to the Defense Ministry, Shapovalov had , "asked to be released in order not to create threats to the stable
support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine as a result of the campaign
of accusations related to the procurement of food services.".
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine
