Protests persist in Peru with demonstrators demanding Congress reps resign
Demonstrators in the Peruvian capital are demanding that Congress representatives resign after a constitutional crisis that ended in a presidential transition after former leader Pedro Castillo’s impeachment.
Protesters are also demanding that the new president, Dina Baluarte, resign and schedule a new election to replace her.
