C/2022 E3 (ZTF), rare green comet to come closest to Sun and pass by Earth | Oneindia News*Space

A bright green comet is reportedly going to shoot across Earth's outer space for the first time in 50,000 years.

After entering the inner solar system, the comet reported to be rare is set to complete its orbit around the Sun.

As per reports, the comet will reach its closest to Earth on Saturday as it burns up, leaving behind a bright tail glowing in the vacuum of space.

The comet is named C/2022 E3 (ZTF).
