A 14-year-old boy killed in a sword attack as he walked to school has been named as Daniel Anjorin. Tributes have been paid to the teenager who has been described as a "much-loved" pupil and a keen footballer. A 17-year-old boy has been arrested and remains in custody on suspicion of attempted murder after three people were injured at a school in Sheffield. Assistant Chief Constable, Dan Thorpe, urged the public to ārefrain from posting images, footage or speculation on social media as it will be harmful to the investigationā.

The parents of Grace OāMalley-Kumar have blamed āfailingsā in the system for a series of stabbing attacks, including a sword attack in Hainault on Tuesday and a school stabbing in Sheffield on Wednesday.
