A Killer plant fungus had infected a human and caused flu-like symptoms in what researchers say is a world-first case.

This rare, fungal disease called Silver Leaf disease, which is known to be deadly for plants found an Indian farmer as its first ever victim for the world, thus causing huge scare.

It is not clear when the incident had occurred but this case has been documented in the journal ‘Medical Mycology Case Reports’.

This scary news has come after US health authorities warned last week about the Candida auris fungus, noting that the disease, which can Kill up to 60% of those it infects, had tripled in recent years and had also grown resistant to multiple drugs.
