Karnataka polls: Why is victory crucial for Congress? Exit polls indicate its win | Oneindia News

The fate of Karnataka politics will be sealed soon as the state eagerly waits for the result of the polls to be announced.

The stakes are high for both the ruling BJP and the main opposition party Congress for their own reasons, but JDS in the past has proven to be a crucial cog in the political wheel.

Voting for Karnataka assembly polls 2023 concluded on Wednesday evening.

While some exit poll agencies predict a hung Assembly, others indicate a slight advantage for the Congress with Janata Dal (Secular) playing a key role.

The trend hints that JDS could play the role of a kingmaker this time too.
