Labour: Rivers, lakes and seas are treated like open sewers
As water firms issue apologies for sewage spills, Shadow Environment Secretary Jim McMahon says it is a "good first step" but adds that what we don't see is "any leadership from government" on the matter.
Mr McMahon goes on to say "this is now 13 years of a Conservative government where literally nothing works in this country".

Labour closes in on a London mayoral victory for Sadiq Khan on Saturday. With just five of 14 constituencies declared, London’s Labour incumbent Mr Khan was leading with over 427,000 votes, with Ms Hall just over 234,000.
