Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s state visit to the US is nearing.
In the light of his upcoming visit, reports said that one of the major discussions going to take place between and US President Joe Biden during the former’s visit to Washington would be the joint manufacturing of fighter jet engines.
According to reports, India and the US are close to signing a military deal that would allow them to jointly develop fighter jet engines.
As the Congress invoked Indira Gandhi's 1971 Bangladesh war leadership to criticize the Modi government’s ceasefire deal with Pakistan, senior leader Shashi Tharoor urged a clear-eyed view of history. Calling the 2025 scenario "entirely different," Tharoor said India needs peace, not endless escalation.
