Australia to provide more armoured vehicles and $74 million aid package to Ukraine | Oneindia News
The Australian government will provide a new A$110 million which is equivalent to $73.5 million to Ukraine.
Prime Minister Anthony Albanese said that the package to Ukraine includes 70 military vehicles to defend against Russia's invasion.
The fresh commitments take Australia's total contribution to Ukraine to A$790 million, including A$610 million in military support, since the conflict began in February 2022.
Chinese President Xi Jinping has delivered a bold message during Russiaâs Victory Day commemorations, calling for the elimination of the root causes of the Ukraine conflictâremarks widely interpreted as a direct swipe at NATO and Western policy. In closed-door talks with Vladimir Putin, Xi pushed for a âfair, lasting, and bindingâ peace deal, while stressing that the security concerns of all nations must be respected.
