Nicholas Rossi: Rape suspect can be extradited to US

Rape suspect Nicholas Rossi can be extradited to the US, Edinburgh Sheriff Court has ruled.

Rossi is wanted by authorities in Utah for allegedly raping a woman in 2008.

The 35-year-old also faces multiple complaints against him in Rhode Island for alleged domestic violence.

Rossi insists he is an Irish orphan called Arthur Knight, although the court ruled in November that he is in fact Rossi.

Sheriff Norman McFadyen ruled there is no impediment to him being extradited.
