Bayern Munich agree Harry Kane deal with Tottenham

Bayern Munich have agreed a deal in principle with Tottenham Hotspur to sign Harry Kane, believed to be worth more than €100m (£86m).

The agreement leaves it up to the 30-year-old England captain whether he wishes to stay at Spurs or join the German champions.

The striker is reportedly keen to stay in the English Premier League to pursue Alan Shearer’s record as the league’s all-time top goalscorer.

Manchester United had been linked with a move for Kane earlier in the transfer window.

Spurs’ all-time record goalscorer is into the final year of his Tottenham contract, meaning he could leave for nothing in 12 months’ time.
