The report says Putin conveyed this stance directly during recent calls with Trump and French President Emmanuel Macron. Despite Western efforts to halt the war, Putin blames the conflict on long-standing U.S. and EU policies that transformed Ukraine into an anti-Russia stronghold. As U.S. military aid continues to flow into Ukraine, Moscow warns the conflict will only escalate unless core Russian concerns are recognized and resolved.

Zelensky will resign and leave Ukraine, former Prime Minister Nikolay Azarov has predicted, citing what he described as a US-backed effort to remove the country’s leader. In a post on Telegram on Sunday, Azarov suggested that the decision to remove Zelensky from power “has already been made in the US” and that Washington has given the “go-ahead” for his ouster. He wrote that although the Ukrainian leader has support in Europe, it is unlikely to change anything and will “hardly help” him.
