WOMEN'S RESERVATION BILL INTRODUCED IN LOK SABHA
After over two decades since the idea was first mooted, and several failed attempts, the Union government has introduced the Women’s Reservation Bill in Parliament.
It aims to reserve one-third seats in Parliament and state legislative assemblies for women.
