The Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike is over, and 'The Drew Barrymore Show' is set to return on Oct.

16.

But three of the show's WGA writers have decided that they won't be coming back, according to 'The Hollywood Reporter.'

.

Those writers are Chelsea White, Cristina Kinon and Liz Koe.

The three women were all co-head writers and have been with the show since the first season.

Last month, Barrymore came under fire when she said that her show would be resuming without its WGA writers.

At the time, Kinon said, "It is a bummer to hear that the show is going back because it sends a message that union writers are not valuable.".

I understand that everybody has to do what they feel is best for them.

For me and the WGA writers on the show, it’s important for us to stick with our union.

We deserve a fair contract, so we are here today outside, Cristina Kinon, via 'The Hollywood Reporter' .

When asked if they'd return to 'The Drew Barrymore Show' once the strike was over, White replied, "Maybe no comment.".

The backlash Barrymore received prompted her to reverse course and pause production until the strike was over.

The show is currently interviewing new writers, according to 'The Hollywood Reporter.'
