More than 1,000 officers have been deployed by the Metropolitan Police for the march, which saw supporters gather to express solidarity with Palestine as the conflict between Israel and Hamas continues to escalate.

The Gaza crisis has reached a horrifying new level. Overnight Israeli airstrikes killed 94 Palestinians, including 45 people waiting for humanitarian aid. Dozens were burned alive in tents in Muwasi, and 15 more were killed when a school sheltering displaced families was hit in Gaza City.
Since October 2023, Gaza’s Health Ministry reports over 57,000 Palestinians killed — more than half of them women and children.
