The proposed changes also include introducing "classical history" and highlighting "Hindu victories." While committee chair C I Isaac emphasises the historical authenticity, NCERT Chairman Dinesh Saklani clarifies that a final decision is pending.

Opposition says, the govt is afraid of the growing influence of INDIA alliance.
