The US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, has given the green light to the sale of 155 mm artillery shells and related equipment to Israel without the usual congressional review process.
The decision was announced by the Pentagon earlier on Saturday.
Israel has launched Operation Gideon’s Chariots II, marking the decisive stage of war against Hamas. Defense Minister Israel Katz warned the “gates of hell” will open on Hamas unless hostages are freed and weapons surrendered. With 60,000 reservists, the IDF plans a four-phase offensive—encirclement, evacuation, and a final push into Gaza City.
