Bharat Bandh: Farmers announce nationwide protests, curbs imposed | Know the details | Oneindia

Following a third meeting with the government late last night, protesting farmers have resolved to persist with their march towards Delhi while scheduling further discussions for Sunday.

Concurrently, anticipation builds for a nationwide strike on Friday in solidarity with the farmers' cause.

In response to the 'Bharat Bandh' called by the Samyukt Kisan Morcha and Central Trade Unions, unauthorised assemblies are prohibited in Noida and various locales of Gautam Budh Nagar district.

While these organisations are distinct from the 'Delhi Chalo' movement, their objectives align closely.

Advocating for a suspension of agricultural activities between 6 am and 4 pm, they urge farmers to stage road blockades nationwide.
