A large satellite which ended its mission 13 years ago should crash down to Earth in an uncontrolled manner on Wednesday, but there is almost zero chance it will hurt anyone, the European Space Agency has said.
Many experts are concerned about the proliferation of man-made debris in space, for example from old artificial satellites, which they say increases the risk of collision.
