Concerns from U.S. Congress members over the short video app TikTok should apply to "all social media platforms", according to information science professor Casey Fiesler, of the University of Colorado Boulder, as the U.S. House of Representatives is set to vote this week on legislation that could mean TikTok banned in the country.
