'The Matrix' New Movie to be Directed, Written by Drew Goddard | THR News Video

Is heading back into 'The Matrix' with a new movie in the works!
This will be the first 'Matrix' film to not directly involve the Wachowskis, and instead Drew Goddard is leading the charge.
Warner announced that the fan-favorite writer-director whose credits include 'The Martian,' 'The Cabin in the Woods' and 'World War Z,' has been tapped to write and direct a new 'Matrix' feature for the studio.

Get ready to return to Middle-earth this summer. 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy is headed back to theaters. Warner Bros. and Fathom Events are teaming up to rerelease the Oscar-winning fantasy blockbusters. The versions screened will be Peter Jackson's extended editions, as well as the versions that the filmmaker remastered in 2020 for a 4K Ultra HD rerelease.
