Manipur IED Blast: Three blasts damage bridge in Manipur days before phase 2 of LS polls | Oneindia

Overnight, three medium-intensity explosions rocked a bridge in Manipur's Kangpokpi district, causing damage.

The blasts occurred close to Sapormeina along National Highway-2, linking Imphal to Dimapur in Nagaland.

This incident unfolded just two days prior to the second phase of Lok Sabha elections, scheduled to take place in certain areas of Outer Manipur.

According to a security official, the event transpired around 1:15 am near Sapormeina in Kangpokpi district.
