Ed Davey calls for freeze of fares on campaign in Shropshire
Lib Dem leader Sir Ed Davey and his candidate Helen Morgan campaign in the North Shropshire constituency after Owen Paterson resignation prompted a by-election.
The Lib Dem leader calls Mrs Morgan a "brilliant" MP and says that "even life long Conservative voters" want to back her.
He also calls for fare prices to be frozen saying "the railways are in a total mess" and "something needs to be done".

Former subpostmaster Alan Bates, who led the campaign to expose the Horizon IT scandal, has told the Post Office inquiry that the organisation has spent 23 years trying to silence him. Giving evidence in central London on Tuesday, Mr Bates criticised former postal affairs minister Ed Davey for saying the government had an “arms-length relationship” with the Post Office. Labour closes in on a London mayoral victory for Sadiq Khan on Saturday. With just five of 14 constituencies declared, London’s Labour incumbent Mr Khan was leading with over 427,000 votes, with Ms Hall just over 234,000.
